Dear (future) customer,

I am aware that you have placed your trust in me. For this reason, I consider it my responsibility to protect your privacy. This page is intended to inform you concerning the ways in which my website collects data, why I collect data, and how I use this data to improve your user experience. In this way, you will understand exactly how I operate.

This privacy policy applies to the services offered by my company, Adem en Stem. I am not responsible for the privacy policy of other sites and/or sources. By making use of my website, you automatically accept this privacy policy.

Adem en Stem respects the privacy of all its site’s users and ensures that the information provided is handled confidentially.

 

My use of collected data:

Your personal details (your name, address, place of residence and email) are used by my administration provider, Moneybird, to send you invoices after having provided you with a service. I am obliged by the Dutch Tax Authority (Belastingdienst) to save these details for a period of seven years.

Personal information provided (via an intake form or during a conversation) concerning your life may be used to create a dossier. I will explicitly inform you of this if this is the case.

I will destroy the dossier two years after our last sessions. I will remove the information provided via the intake form from my computer after two years (or earlier, upon your request).

You have the right to specify during our session(s) that you would like me to immediately remove your dossier after our last session. Alternatively, you can specify that you would prefer me not to save your information in a dossier at all. Consequently, I will not save your information.

If I decide to send a newsletter via email in future, I will first ask your permission. I will add the option of unsubscribing from the newsletter in the newsletter itself, while also adding the option of no longer receiving any emails from me at all.

I do my utmost to protect my personal computer, laptop, iPad, optional back-up systems, and mobile phone from being accessed by unauthorised people. I have purchased all the necessary security measures, such as a virus scanner and a firewall, for this purpose.

By agreeing to a session with me or participating in a breath- and/or voicework workshop or training, you automatically agree with this privacy policy.

Adem en Stem processes your personal data, either because you make use of my services and/or have provided this data to me yourself. Below is an overview of the personal data I process:

  • First name and surname; address information; telephone number; email address
  • Other personal data that you have actively provide in correspondence and by telephone

 

Special and/or sensitive personal data that I process:

Adem en Stem can process the following special and/or sensitive data relating to your person:

  • Sex; age; health status

 

The goal and the basis on which I process personal data:

Adem en Stem processes your personal data for the following purposes:

  • To complete your payment after sending an invoice for provided services
  • To call or email you, when required to adequately execute my service
  • To inform you concerning changes in my services and/or products via email
  • To deliver goods and services to you

I also process personal data if I am legally obliged to do so by law (an example is the data I need to collect for my tax declaration).

 

Automated decision-making:

Adem en Stem takes decisions via automated processing that could have (considerable) consequences for people. Concerned are decisions taken by computer programmes or systems without the involvement of a human being. Adem en Stem uses the following computer programmes or systems: Moneybird for the automatic sending of invoices.

As a visitor to my website, you can leave behind your email address. Adem en Stem processes your email address if you make use of my services and/or because you have provided it to me yourself via my website.

 

Responses:

If you as a visitor leave a response on my website, the data displayed in the response form, as well as the IP address of the visitor and the browser’s user-agent string, is collected (to assist with tracking spam).

An anonymised string, created based on your email address (also referred to as a hash), can be sent to the Gravatar service (if you use this service).

How long do I store personal data?

Adem en Stem will not store your personal data any longer than is strictly necessary to realise the goals for which it was collected. We adhere to the following storage periods for the following categories of personal data:

Personal data: 7 years.

Personal dossier: 2 years.

 

Sharing personal data with third parties:

Adem en Stem does not sell your data to third parties and will exclusively provide your data to third parties if doing so is necessary for the execution of our agreement or to adhere to legal obligations imposed on Adem en Stem. Concerning companies that process your data on our behalf, we agree to a data-processing agreement to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data. Adem en Stem remains responsible for this processing.

 

Cookies (or comparable techniques) used:

Adem en Stem uses technical, functional, and analytical cookies that do not breach your privacy. A cookie is a small text file that is stored on your personal computer, laptop, tablet, or smartphone when you first visit this website. The cookies we use are necessary for the technical functioning of the website and the convenience of its users. They make sure the website works and is maintained as it should be (by saving your preferred settings, for example). Adem en Stem can also use cookies to optimise its website.

You are given the choice to accept or refuse cookies. You accept them by pressing the accept button in the cookie notification that appears in your browser. You can also choose not to accept cookies by clicking refuse. This does not negatively impact the functioning of the website. Additionally, you can refuse cookies by setting up your internet browser in such a way that it no longer stores cookies. Your browser provider’s website can provide you with more information concerning this option.

When you leave a response on my website, you can specify whether your name, email address and website are permitted to be stored in the shape of a cookie. We do so for your convenience, so that you do not have to fill in this information again for a new response. These cookies are valid for a year.

 

Looking into, modifying, or removing your data:

You have the right to look into, modify or remove your data. In addition, you have the right to withdraw your optional permission for data processing or to object to the processing of your personal data by Adem en Stem. You also have the right to transfer your details. This means you can submit a request to send the personal data that I have collected concerning you to another person or an organisation of your choosing. You can send a request to look into, modify, remove, or transfer your personal data, a request to withdraw your permission to process your personal data, or object to the processing of your personal data to info@ademenstem.nl. To ensure that the request is made by you, I ask you to include a copy of your identity document in the request. In this copy, black out your photo, MRZ (machine-readable zone: the bar with numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and social-insurance number (burgerservicenummer), if applicable, to protect your privacy. I will respond as quickly as possible, but no later than within four weeks of having received your request. I would also like to point out that you have the option of submitting a formal complaint to the national supervisor, the Dutch Data Protection Agency (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens). Adem en Stem takes the protection of your data seriously, and takes fitting measures to prevent the abuse, loss, unauthorised access, undesired publication, and unauthorised modification of your data. Adem en Stem has taken the following measures to protect your personal data:

  • Security software (such as a virus scanner and firewall)
  • TLS (previously SSL). (We send your data via a secure internet connection. You can see that this is the case by https and the lock symbol in the address bar.)
  • DNSSEC is an extra security measure (on top of DNS) for the transfer of a domain name (#company_website) to the IP address (server name) to which it is linked. It functions by providing a digital signature. You can have that signature automatically checked. In this way, we prevent you from being redirected to a false IP address.
